We are a non-governmental non-profit organization with activities mainly in Prague and the Central Bohemian Region.

Our organization was created from an initiative to support substitute family care in the Czech Republic in accordance with the goal of limiting the placement of children in institutional care.

Non-profit organization Charita Hvězda z.s. deals with helping all children from substitute, socially weak families and single-parent families. It is devoted to the promotion of substitute family care and its development. Organizes meetings and events for surrogate parents.

The organization is currently engaged in several projects and plans to expand services according to the needs of our clients.

The first and main project of the organization is a Foster Care Warehouse, which has been operating since 2018. Equipment is obtained from donors who, for the good of the cause, donate what they no longer need for their children for the benefit of others.

On the recommendation of the relevant authorities, a wide range of equipment for younger and older children can be obtained at the operations center in Horoměřice.
